AAPI Heritage Month Brand Spotlight: Then I Met You

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I’ll be highlighting a few of my favorite AAPI-founded beauty brands to support. I started with Cocokind and Tower 28, so my third brand is Then I Met You! TIMY was started by Charlotte Cho, who is also the cofounder of Soko Glam. Their Cleansing Duo is an all-time favorite of mine. I would recommend this to pretty much anyone.

Living Cleansing Balm

It’s luxe, thick, and removes dirt, oil, and makeup like a dream. If you’re into the gritting method (which I highly recommend!) this is the cleansing balm I’ve had the most success with!

Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel

This is the perfect water-based cleanser to follow up your double-cleanse with. If you’ve tried the cult-favorite Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser, I would say TIMY’s cleanses deeper, but isn’t stripping to my normal/combo skin in the slightest. If you have extremely dry skin, you may prefer Krave’s, but I think anyone else would be obsessed with this one!

If you’re interested in shopping at Soko Glam for the first time, you can use this link for 20% off an order of $50 or more. For transparency’s sake, I will also receive 400 loyalty points (equal to $20) if you order.

Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. This means, at no additional cost to you, I may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase. Thanks so much for your support!
