In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I’ll be highlighting a few of my favorite AAPI-founded brands to support. I started with Cocokind and now need to tell y’all about Tower 28! While everyone is obsessed with their SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray (and for a good reason!) I can’t get over their mascara or concealer! Their clean, edited collection doesn’t miss.
MakeWaves Mascara
I’m not usually a fan of mascaras with rubber bristle brushes, but this one exceeds all expectations. It separates, lifts, keeps a curl, and doesn’t smudge or budge. I’ve been through minis and full sizes and I don’t see myself moving on from this anytime soon!
Swipe Hydrating Serum Concealer
I LOVE that they offer fair/light shades with neutral undertones. This can be super hard to find! Not only do they have a perfect shade for me, but I also love that the creamy texture gives some serious coverage. A few dots under my eyes + around my nose and mouth, and I’m set!
