Pink + Green Botanical Fairy Nails
Artist: @_benailz_
Step 1
After filing, cuticle prep, dehydrator, and a base coat, Be applied a jelly clear/pinkish shade to all nails, and added a bit of shimmer to a few (like the left pointer and right pinky).
Step 2
Design bases! She used black gel + a liner brush to add lines on the right pointer and left pinky, then buffed in the green chrome powder from this set. She also started to shape the 3D flowers with sculpting gel (which was amazing to watch!) The last design bases was a watery effect on both ring fingers that reminded me of lily pads. For these, she applied blooming gel, then dotted white, pink, and green gels around so they could blend and create organic shapes.
Step 3
Second layer of designs! Here, she added flat back and asymmetrical pearl charms to the blooming gel nails, as well as the right ring and left pointer fingers. She also glued down a few neutral broken pieces of abalone shell to reflect tons of light. After painting the pink accents on the flowers to give some color and dimension, she glued tiny gold spheres to the center, which gave some super fun texture to the inside of the flower. She also added a few plops of 3D rhinestone glue gel around to give some extra pizzazz (we gotta start using that work more). My favorite step was probably the tiny dried leaves encapsulated with gel. These gave a super fairy vibe to the whole set!
Step 4
Topcoat time! Overall, I came in with bare nails and these took around two and a half hours! Time VERY well spent. They ended up lasting over a month!
