Short, Rounded Blue + Silver Rock Star Nails

WHAT I ASKED FOR

- rounded edges on my natural nails

since I’m trying to grow them out

- mismatched blue + chrome

- stars, hearts, bows, and swirl designs

- a few 3D elements

Step 1

After filing, cuticle prep, dehydrator, and a base coat, Be applied a jelly clear/pinkish shade to all nails except my right middle finger. She blended a custom blue for this one!

Step 2

Design bases! She created an aura effect with a pigmented blue eye shadow and blending sponge (pro tip: apply more eye shadow than you think!) On my left middle finger, she painted a star with a silver liner gel, and for the bows, used a super punchy + pigmented midnight blue gel polish.

Step 3

Second layer of designs! Here, she added rhinestones to the center of the bows, plops of 3D rhinestone glue gel to the center of a few stars, and dots of silver and blue to pull the designs together.

Step 4

Topcoat time! Overall, these took around two hours and included removal of my old gel set. Be is insanely fast!
